S.K. Bose Football Memorial Cup

An Inter School and Inter college Football Tournament

Bosco Group along with ROTARY CLUB OF DOMBIVLI DOWNTOWN and D.K Flag Foundation jointly organises an interschool and intercollege Football tournament years in remembrance of Late. Shri Shankar Kumar Bose – an educationist who had devoted his life for promoting sports and education, who had the vision to promote football amongst youth and was the founder of the Tournament. The tournament is one of the Elite Tournaments of Thane District and Teams from Thane, Mumbai, Dombivli, Mulund, Thakurli, Vashi, Ambernath, Ulhasnagar, Badlapur and Kalyan, Navi Mumbai regions come together to Battle for Glory  at FIFA certified  LODHA WORLD FOOTBALL STADIUM (PALAVA).

Every year Over 90 Teams participate in the 5 day tournament where teams belonging to three age groups of 12, 14, 16 and 19 and 16 year girls with more than 1400 students and 500 guests come to witness a sensational Tournament for the Love of Football. The atmosphere becomes euphoric with the crowd cheering loudly for the players during the matches of S. K Bose Memorial Football Tournament.

 One of the key attraction is the tradition of an Exhibition match where the Rotary Youth Exchange students team from Brazil and Venezuella, Argentina, Italy, Spain and other countries  face with our Indian Teams followed by a Grand Closing ceremony involving Dance, Music and Dinner event as a part of Rotary gesture for promoting goodwill around the world. Students wait for an entire year to participate in such a prestigious tournament.
